Library index drawers 1950s

Vintage library card-index with nine drawers made in the 1950s from solid oak with chrome fittings and black melamine panels and beechwood drawer sides.

It makes an attractive set of small collectors drawers or an unusual wine rack. The cabinet has a distinctive trapezoid shape formed from dovetail-jointed oak panels.

The drawers can be used as they are or lined with trays to hold smaller items.
Good overall condition. There are some marks on the top of the cabinet (see photo) and small signs of wear consistent with age.
