Danish 6-seat dining set by Hans Olsen for Frem Røjle
SOLD
Teak dining table and 6 chair set ‘Roundette’ model designed by Hans Olsen and produced by Frem Røjle 1960s.
Circular dining set with a butterfly extension mechanism which expands from 4 to 6 places. In this iconic design the chairs fit seamlessly beneath the table when not in use with the swell backs of the chairs forming a continuous band of beautifully grained wood. A stunning dining set perfect for use in any setting, particularly where space is at a premium.
All chair frames are in very good original condition and the seats have been reupholstered with fire-retardant foam and high-quality vinyl leather. The table has been restored and refinished with Danish oil. Very slight tonal variation between main leaves and extension, as is usual. Light signs of wear consistent with age (see photos).
Approx. dimensions (cm): 120 diameter (extending to 171) x 74 high
