Rosewood ‘Dorrington’ dining table by Robert Heritage for Archie Shine 1970s

Rosewood dining table ‘Dorrington’ model designed by Robert Heritage in the mid-1960s for Archie Shine and this example was sold through Heal’s, London in 1974. The 5’6″ table extends to 7′ with an additional leaf which can be stored underneath when not in use. As is usually the case with extending tables of this age, here is a slight tonal difference between the extension and main table top due to light exposure but it is not pronounced.
