Vintage mid-century rosewood and chrome pedestal desk by Trevor Chinn for Gordon Russell ‘Prestige’ collection 1970s.
An extremely stylish mid-century desk finished in rich-coloured rosewood veneer and set on polished chrome legs. It was designed by Trevor Chinn for Gordon Russell and produced as part of the ‘Prestige’ collection of luxurious office furniture in the mid-1970s.
Clean minimalist lines and superb retro styling. The substantial rosewood desktop sits on pedestals with graduated drawers on one side; and a shallow drawer (the tray insert is missing), plus a deep filing drawer on the other: all supported on simple, angular, polished chrome legs. There are some minor blemishes and scratches on the desktop and some oxidation marks on the chrome legs(see photos) but otherwise in excellent condition.
An impressive addition to any retro-styled office or home.
