Dining table by Ole Wanscher for CADO 1960s

A stylish vintage Danish dining table designed by Ole Wanscher as part of the 195 series dining group for CADO and manufactured in the mid- to late- 1960s.
The oval table extends from 140.5cm to 201cm by means of a butterfly mechanism that can be opened out when the two ends of the table are pulled apart. The extension leaves feature solid brass strap hinges in the centre. The table top is finished in a richly grained rosewood veneer that has been re-polished. There are a few tiny repairs at the edges (see photos). Solid rosewood legs with a fluted corner detail that can be unbolted for safe transport.
Bears the metal CADO maker’s badge with a stamped serial number.
