Teak and rosewood sideboard by Ib Kofod Larsen for G-Plan Model No. 4060 1966

A beautiful and rarely available Model 4060 sideboard/credenza designed by Ib Kofod Larsen for G-Plan.

Finished in teak with solid Bombay Rosewood handles. Simple and distinctive lines with a nod to classical Chinese cabinets with the large split circular handles.
Kofod Larsen’s original design dates from 1964 and was later revised, altering the under-frame. This model was made available for sale in 1966.
The right-hand cupboard contains a removable drinks tray, cutlery draw lined with grey baize and two further linen drawers. The left-hand cupboard has an adjustable shelf.
The cabinet is set on an elegant framework which raises the main body 51cm from the floor.
