Art Deco English walnut & burr maple double wardrobe 1940s

Highly decorative 1940s Art Deco double wardrobe with a distinctive diagonal veneer pattern which is echoed in its v-shaped bow-front, and a large quatrefoil marquetry inlay in burr maple. Carved detail at the top of the centre bar. Ornate brass handles. Two hanging sections with rails and a hat shelf in the right-hand side. Heavy and solidly made. Original working lock and key. Good condition with only minor signs of wear consistent with vintage; small damage to right-hand escutcheon (see photo).

Bears the CC41 utility stamps.

The wardrobe divides into two large sections for ease of transport and will be shipped disassembled.
