An elegant 1930s Art Deco walnut credenza

with two cupboards either side of four bow-fronted drawers. Clean simple lines with a luxurious finish.
The cupboard doors open right out to reveal chrome-plated shelves for bottles allowing this beautiful sideboard to double as a cocktail cabinet.
The top drawer has a small sliding cutlery tray made of oak and is lined with khaki-coloured felt. An original key is present which fits the locks on both cupboard doors.
The golden walnut veneer is quarter-matched on the top and book-matched on the drawer fronts with lines of banding running all around the top and bottom of the cabinet. The finish has been restored by French polishing with button shellac to show off the stunning grain.
