Teak corner cabinet by Omann Jun 1960s
SOLD
A beautiful and unusual Danish tall corner cabinet finished in teak.
Two doors which open to reveal a cupboard with three shelves; three drawers below. Original lock and key. Unlabelled.
Very good condition: only a few tiny flaws including a tiny piece of lost veneer at the point of the rear corner.
High-quality materials and manufacture. Attributed by a previous owner to Kurt Olsen for Andersen & Bohm, Copenhagen 1950s, however, the elongated lozenge-shaped handles, cross-banded strip, and escutcheon, together with the quality of construction, that suggest that this striking cabinet was made by another Danish Company, Omann Juns Møbelfabrik in the 1960s.
Approx. dimensions (cm): 146h x 63 x 63 (88 corner to corner at widest point)
Cabinet will be shipped with the legs detached for safety and ease of transport.
