Oval Teak Dining Table by Malcolm David Walker for Dalescraft 1960s
A simple and elegant oval dining table made in the early 1960s by the small high-end furniture manufacturer Dalescraft in Yorkshire.
The company was renowned for fine quality English cabinet-making in designs that are often uncannily close to the work produced by Danish firm Omann Jun. Unusually, this teak table extends along its length making a rounder table when full size. The extension leaves are in a self-contained ‘butterfly’ mechanism
Cleaned and restored with a Danish oil finish. Minimal wear and a lovely patina consistent with its age.
Approx. dimensions (cm): 137.5 x 99.5 (146) x 73h
