Danish Royal System modular units by Poul Cadovius

A collection of units from the iconic Royal System modular shelving series originally designed by Poul Cadovius in 1948 and manufactured by his own company.

This pioneering shelf system won the gold medal at the Finland Furniture Fair in 1950 and silver medal in Milan in 1957.

Finished in teak with solid afromosia upright wall rails and black-coated steel shelf hangers.

Good original condition. 35.5cm shelf slopes very slightly.

This set includes 4 x 135cm wall rails; 2 x 2-drawer unit 16h x 30d; 1x glass-door cabinet 33.5h x 24.5d; 1 x wide shelf 35.5d ; 4 x shelf 24.5d. All units 80cm wide.

Another set is also available and modules could be combined to create a ‘mix-and-match’ selection.
