Danish floating-top teak coffee table with ebonised legs 1950s

A beautiful long coffee table of exceptional quality, finished in teak with a distinctive cross-band veneer design. The ‘surfboard’ shaped surface appears to float above fine tapered legs.

Unlabeled, but with the remains of a circular label underneath consistent with a ‘Danish Furniture Control’ label. The overall style and quality of construction together with the metric sizing also suggest that this stunning table originated in Denmark.

In excellent condition with no damage or blemishes; this is, of course, a table which is over 60 years old and there will be tiny marks and impressions which are part of the patina and character of vintage furniture.
