‘Gloucester’ Model teak sideboard Robert Heritage for Archie Shine 1960s

A very long 8ft sideboard designed by Robert Heritage for Archie Shine.

This ‘Gloucester’ model sideboard has a set of drawers at each end with two cupboards in the centre. The upper drawers are lined in green baize with with cutlery dividers. Very elegant clean lines: the drawers have distinctive inset circular handles and the cupboards are fitted with concealed ‘push to open’ catches creating an uncluttered minimalist façade.

The exterior has been cleaned and fully restored. Some minor signs of wear consistent with age.
