Vintage mid-century rosewood and chrome pedestal desk by Trevor Chinn for Gordon Russell ‘Prestige’ collection 1970s

An extremely stylish mid-century desk finished in rich-coloured rosewood veneer and set on polished chrome legs. It was designed by Trevor Chinn for Gordon Russell and produced as part of the ‘Prestige’ collection of luxurious office furniture in the mid-1970s.

Clean minimalist lines and superb retro styling. The substantial rosewood desktop sits on graduated drawers on one side; and a drawer with tray insert, plus a deep filing drawer on the other: all supported on simple, angular, polished chrome legs. There is a very small repair to one corner of the larger drawer (see photos) but otherwise in excellent condition. The original locks are open, but sadly the key is not present.

An impressive addition to any retro-styled office or home.
