Frem Røjle ‘Roundette’ dining set Hans Olsen

SOLD

Teak dining table and chair set ‘Roundette’ model designed by Hans Olsen and produced by Frem Røjle 1960s

Compact dining set for four extending to six places. This iconic design fits the chairs seamlessly beneath the table when not in use forming a continuous band of beautifully grained wood. A stunning dining set perfect for use in any setting, particularly where space is at a premium.

The six triangular tripod chairs have a distinctive ebonised inlay detail in the back rail. Black vinyl seats and upholstered back rest. When used in its circular four-seat configuration the spare chairs can be stacked.

The chairs are in very good original condition with only slight signs of wear expected for a vintage piece of this age. All joints are sound. No tears to the vinyl seats. The table has been restored and refinished with Danish oil. Some small marks and light signs of wear consistent with age. Extension mechanism in good working order.
Approx. dimensions (cm): 105 diameter (extending to 156) x 74 high
