Model 55 chairs N O Møller

A pair of carver dining chairs with arms hand-made in Denmark in the 1970s by J L Møllers to Niels Otto Møller’s 1951 design No. 55.

The sweeping lines of the frame are made in solid and laminated teak. The traditional woven seats have been fully restored in new paper cord. One of the frames has an historic repair (see photos) but all appears sound and the internal corners of the seat have been reinforced. Each one bears a maker’s label.
