MK311 carver chairs by Arne Hovmand-Olsen for Mogens Kold 1960s

A pair of generously proportioned teak carver dining chairs with arms designed by Arne Hovmand Olsen for Mogens Kold, Denmark 1960s to match the MK310 dining chair.

Solid teak frame with a wide, sweeping backrest formed from laminated teak and beechwood. The concave seat is a typical feature of the designer and they have been newly re-woven in natural paper cord.

One of the chair frames is in very good original condition; the other has had an earlier repair to the backrest which has now been strengthened and pinned (please see photos).

A matching MK169 dining table is also available and a set of four matching MK310 dining chairs is in preparation.
