A stylish and practical coffee table with a reversible top with either a beautifully grained teak side or a heat-resistant, wipeable formica surface to place hot coffee pots on.

The dual-faced table top sits on an elegant afromosia frame with a magazine shelf woven in a simple pattern of wide 5mm cane.

Designer and maker unknown but this very useful table is consistent with examples from the Netherlands from the late 1950s and early 1960s.
