Rosewood dining table by Nils Jonsson for Troeds 1970s

SOLD

A circular extending dining table designed by Nils Jonsson for Hugo Troeds and produced in Sweden in the 1970s.

The table is constructed from different solid and veneered hardwoods some of which have been stained and the table-top is finished with a richly coloured rosewood veneer inside a lighter hardwood border.

A distinctive feature of this design is the dot & dash detail that runs around the table.

The table extends by means of two hinged leaves which can be stored underneath when not in use. Each leaf adds 50cm to the length. As with almost all extending tables of this vintage there is a slight difference of tone between the extensions and main table top due to the different amounts of time they have been exposed to daylight over the years.

Delivery to mainland GB included.
The table will be shipped disassembled for ease and safety of transport.
