Teak dining table Model ‘Mega’ by Nils Jonsson for Troeds Sweden 1960s.

More compact than its name would suggest, this minimalist dining table has a folding top which slides and opens out from a small square 90cm to a double-size 180cm x90cm. Made in Sweden in the 1960s, the table has beautifully grained solid teak legs (which detach for transport) and a teak finished table top of a honeyed golden hue with feature inset brass hinges. A good example of Troeds quality and Nils Jonsson’s elegantly simple designs.
