Frem Røjle ‘Roundette’ table & 6 chairs Hans Olsen 1960s
SOLD
Teak dining table and chair set ‘Roundette’ model designed by Hans Olsen and produced by Frem Røjle 1960s
Compact dining set for four extending to six places. This iconic design fits the chairs seamlessly beneath the table when not in use forming a continuous band of beautifully grained wood. A stunning dining set perfect for use in any setting, particularly where space is at a premium.
The six triangular tripod chairs are made from solid afromosia with a distinctive darker insert detail in the back rail. Black vinyl seats. When used in its circular four-seat configuration the spare chairs can be stacked.
The set is in extremely good original condition with only slight signs of wear expected for a vintage piece of this age. All joints are sound. No tears to the vinyl seats. Extension mechanism in good working order. The wear which typically affects the top corners of these chairs is only visible on one corner (pictured); tiny damage to edge of table (pictured); one of the threaded inserts that secure the detachable legs has been replaced (not visible in use).
Approx. dimensions (cm): 105 diameter (extending to 156) x 74 high
