Danish teak sideboard by E W Bach for Sejling Skabe 1960s

High sideboard designed by EW Bach for Sejling Skabe, Denmark. The outer sliding doors have organically-shaped carved teak handles running the length of one side and the inner door has two simple grooves allowing it to be moved behind the others. The right hand cupboard is fitted with two shallow drawers lined with green baize; the centre and left-hand cupboards have adjustable teak shelves. Underneath the cupboards there are three drawers with delicately formed chevron handles.
This was originally imported to the UK by The Scandinavian Room of New Bond St., London W1 and bears the retailer’s label on the back.
