Trio model sideboard by Nils Jonsson for Troeds 1960s

Teak sideboard designed by Nils Jonsson for Troeds, Sweden 1960s Model ‘Trio’.

Simple, uncluttered mid-century design with minimalist lines: five equal drawers with concealed recessed pulls – the top drawer is lined with green baize and has fixed cutlery dividers. A cupboard at each end revealed by sliding doors with diamond recessed handles, each cupboard with an adjustable/removable shelf. Interior lined in blonde birch. Original maker’s stamp. Good original condition, light wear and minor marks consistent with vintage. Three tiny veneer repairs at the back edge of the top (see photo) and a small repair at the back of the left-hand end panel.
