Troeds ‘Arild’ sideboard by Nils Jonsson

An extra-long ‘Arild’ model sideboard designed by Nils Jonsson in the 1960s and produced by Hugo Troeds in Sweden.

A pleasingly simple design with a square, solid look finished in a honey-coloured teak veneer. Two cupboards with sliding doors and adjustable bevel-edged shelves that are a feature of Jonsson’s designs for Troeds. Four drawers: the upper drawer is lined with blue felt and has cutlery dividers and a removable sliding tray. The right-hand door drops down to reveal an off-white melamine lined cocktail cabinet. A functioning replacement lock and key have been fitted. Expected minor marks and small scratches with a minor restoration to the stand which is not visible in normal use; generally in very good condition.
