Teak sideboard by Yngve Ekström for Dux, Sweden 1961

A vintage Scandinavian sideboard designed by Yngve Ekström in the late 1950s and produced by Dux in Sweden in the 1960s.

Finished in honey-coloured teak with birch-lined. Sliding doors reveal two cabinets each with an adjustable shelf. Five equal drawers in the centre; the upper drawer is lined with green baize and has cutlery dividers.
Distinctive circular handles.

Original maker’s stamps on the underside of the drawer fronts with the date14 Feb 61

Very good original vintage condition. Some slight faded marks on top. Lovely patina.
